The role

A Global Business Development Manager will play a key role in growing our network of clients and establish a strong presence in the Netherlands and in the United Kingdom. This is a great opportunity to become one of the founding members of a rapidly growing team in a competitive market. You are able to build the brand new global business development department at Temper together with your teammates and create a roadmap towards a successful global business development organisation. Being entrepreneurial in your approach, you will view this team as a startup within a startup, building this team from scratch and being the right hand person for our Head of Business Development, giving support to growth and results as we excel and expand. You will be responsible to acquire enterprise accounts which means researching client’s needs, building relationships with clients and turn them into happy Temper users. You understand the client’s journey and get excited about prospecting, closing deals and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. This is an excellent role for an outgoing, strategic and commercial individual who can build relationships with global enterprise accounts, enjoys optimising the sales funnel and wants to have a concrete, measurable impact in a fast growing international scale-up. This role reports into the Head of Business Development and is based in Amsterdam. Some travel might be necessary to support Temper’s expansion to new cities and countries.

Responsibilities

Research, prospect and sell new global clients in the Hospitality, Retail, Logistics industries, in target areas to help Temper expand its geographic footprint.
Define and implement strategic Business Development Playbooks & learning programs across the countries.
Develop creative, fun, and innovative ways to connect and build out your relationships with potential global partners and share across the (global) company.
Develop an understanding of different industries/clients staffing needs and how Temper fits in.
Maintaining high-volume weekly KPIs and metrics in order to achieve monthly sales goals.
Build a new Global Business Development Department within Temper from scratch together with the Head of Global Business Developmen

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

5-7 years of relevant sales experience (preferably with in a marketplace organisation and/or experience in Retail, Logistics, Hospitality);
Able to negotiate on C-level;
Excellent communication skills;
Strategic mindset, able to define and test different sales strategies;
Loves to motivate and inspire other people;
Hustle and drive to hit and exceed goals;
Hands-on mentality, willing to roll up sleeves;
Fluent in Dutch and English
